GENERAL INFORMATION

About the course: This course is intended for beginners in the field of photography, for students studying in the fields of ‘Journalism’ and ‘Media Communications’, as well as for bloggers. The course examines in detail technical and compositional techniques that allow you to highlight key moments in photography. The course includes studying the golden ratio rule and principles of working with color and light. Several modules also focus on the technical aspects of photography: choosing and setting up a camera, analyzing parameters such as aperture, ISO, focal length, white balance and depth of field, and their impact on the result. The final module provides an overview of Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop applications. It is important to remember that you should actively practice during the learning process to master professional skills as much as possible.

Program: The course program is designed for people who want to master the art of photography, as well as for those who blog on social networks.

Course Objective: To develop knowledge, theoretical and practical skills in the effective use of photographic equipment and creating photographs.

Skills gained during the course:

Knowledge of basic composition rules and compositional techniques.
Knowledge of basic technical concepts of photography.
Ability to select and configure equipment for photography.
Knowledge of types of light.
Ability to take photographs in different lighting conditions.
Using various artistic techniques when taking photographs.
Ability to process photographs.

Igor Vologin

Igor Vologin is an experienced professional with 15 years of experience in the IT industry, of which 10 years have been involved in IT project management. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), SAFe 6 Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) specialist who completed the academic course at the Higher School of Economics in the subject of “IT Project Management” and has extensive experience in project management not only in Azerbaijan, but also in Georgia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Montenegro.

Igor graduated from an academic photography course at Novosibirsk State University and has an extensive portfolio of work as a photographer and videographer covering various events.

He is also a practicing specialist in interpersonal relationships with rich experience in teaching.

Currently, Igor works as a Scrum Master at Libertex Group. In addition, he is a co-founder of Forest School Azerbaijan, an educator at STEP IT Academy and a mentor at the Azerbaijan Young Teachers Association (AGMA).

Igor doesn’t just share his theoretical knowledge; he provides a unique opportunity to gain practical work skills.
